I had an ultrasound today to check for bone development. According to my doctor is the last thing that we can check for in a ultrasound to make sure there aren't markers for downs. And her long bones measured perfectly, actually a little ahead so even better. I think we are in the clear for downs. I am so glad.
The little girl looked perfect. She is measuring a week ahead and is already 1 lb 12 oz. The average for 25 weeks is 1 lb 6 oz. Hopefully she won't be too big of a baby or maybe I will get lucky and deliver a little early.
We got alot of really cute 3-D pictures this time and most importantly she is still a girl. I can't help but make them check every time I get to see her.

Happy 21 Months!!
My baby boy is 21 months old today!!! You have really grown this month. You finally had your language explosion and you are a talking machine. You repeat everything. I think you have to be up to about 50 words now. Its amazing how fast you learned to talk. You also learned the first 4 letters of the alphabet (A,B,C, and D) and you know your basic shapes. You have become obsessed with finding planes, tractors, stars, trucks, cars and motorcycles. There is definitely not anything wrong with your eyes. You spot planes before I can even see them. You have also started to tell us when you poopoo, one step closer to potty training!
This is definitely my favorite stage of your life so far. Everyday you are learning something new and its so exciting.

Little Girl Update
I completely forgot to post an update about the little girl. I had my big ultra sound about 2 weeks ago. Most of the fun was already gone because already know she is a girl but I still make them check at every ultrasound. They also needed to make sure the cyst was really gone. Apparently the perinatologist forgot to write that part down in my records, even though I remember him saying it was gone. Thankfully it is still gone. They did a bunch of measurements and everything still looks fine. No markers for any chromosome issues.
My Mom got to go with me this time. She had never soon an ultrasound, so it was really cool for her to get to experience it. I even got to get a couple pictures of the little lady in 3-D. I have to go for another one in 2 weeks to check the bone measurement. I will get to see her again in 3-D. Hopefully this time she behaves better.
Here are some pictures from the appt.

Pool Playdate
This was a busy week we had a bunch of pool playdates. Good thing the little man LOVES to swim. Two of them are in a pool and one of them is a bunch of kiddie pools. These pictures are from the one with all the kiddie pools. Tyler got to hang out with his three girlfriends. You will also notice that Tyler always has a chicken nugget in his hand. You would really think I never feed that kid if you saw him eat at playdates.

4th of July
This evening we had our annual 4th of July celebration and of course it turned out awesome. We had friends, food and fireworks. What more could you ask for. I completely lost track of time and didn't get to put Tyler to bed until about 9pm. So he never fell asleep before the fireworks started. They were going off pretty much right outside his window, so it was pretty loud. I ended up just getting him out of bed when I figured he wasn't going to sleep. He sat on Daddy's lap and watched the fireworks. He loved them. Every time one went up, he would yell BOOM!!
