Goodbye Ampa and Grandma

Today your ampa and Grandma left you. They had a great visit and my Grandpa got so much stuff done around the house. The nursery is painted, my car is waxed (for the first time in 3 yrs) and my flower beds look great.

We really had a nice visit and I always love it when they come out. Hopefully they will be back around Christmas time to meet the new little lady.

33 Weeks

Today I had an ultrasound to check the babies growth and guess what??? She's huge. Her head is measuring 36 weeks and she is guess to already be around 5 lbs. Tyler was 5.5 lbs at 35 weeks and when he was born he was 8.5 lbs. I was really hoping since this one was a girl she would be smaller than Tyler was but its not looking good for me. My doctor never mentioned a c-section to me and I'm not bringing it up. I would really prefer not to have one. Other than the baby's size she looks great.

After the ultrasound I had my appointment with the doctor. I was put on weekly appointments last week when he was doing and internal and my cervix was already thinning out but it was still closed. This week when he checked me I was about 50% thinned out and dilated a cm. So I got the whole lecture about taking it really easy. He would like to see me make it to 36 weeks and then he will let nature take its course. This is all so new to me Tyler did not want to come out. He was born on his due date. I have a feeling she is just messing with my head though. I think she will come around 40 weeks. I hope I am wrong though because I am huge and miserable already. Daddy thinks she will come on his and Tyler's birthday, Oct 20th. So we shall see what little Miss decides to do.

Here is picture of her from the ultrasound. I got another 3D peek. The sonographer told me she is going to really give Tyler a run for his money. She thinks that Tyler is the cutest baby ever. She always tells me how he is the cutest baby that comes in the office and she always threatens to take him.

Blocks with Grandpa

Grandpa brought out Tyler's blocks today. Tyler was in heaven he loves blocks but Mommy likes to hide them because they are a pain to clean up. Of course since Grandpa was here he had to spoil him. No wonder Tyler loves his "Ampa". That is what Tyler calls him. Surprisingly Tyler remembered him from the last time he saw him in February. Its nice to know that he is starting to remember people.

The New Carseat

Here is Tyler's new carseat. He loves it. He is constantly sitting in it. I am going to put it in the car closer to when my Grandparents leave, so I can move his existing one out.

The Best Box Ever

Tyler's Great Grandparents bought him a new carseat for his birthday. It came in the best box ever. Tyler loved playing on this box. He's is also showing off the circles that he made in school. Yes, he glued all the circles on by himself. He was very proud of his circles and had to show everyone.

Shoes

Tyler was trying to be a big boy today and put on his own shoes and socks. He never got them on but it was really cute to watch him try.

Tyler found a new place to play with all his toys.

Grandpa's Little Helper

Tyler's Great Grandparents are here visiting. Today my Grandpa was cleaning out our flower beds. Tyler loves to help clean out the flower beds and he is such a good little helper. He carries around his bucket and "helps" pick things up. You can tell by the red cheeks that he was working really hard today.

The Alphabet

Here is a short video of Tyler going through the alphabet on Daddy's phone. He did alot better the first couple of times before he figured out he could touch the screen to change the letters. I love how he says D.

Big Bird and Elmo

Today we took Tyler to go see Big Bird and Elmo at the planetarium at the Ft Worth Science Center. It was a 25 minute movie about the stars featuring Big Bird and Elmo. I thought Tyler would really enjoy this. He loves Elmo right now. I figured worst case, we would just leave if he couldn't handle it. We ended up missing the 10:30am show, so we had to hang around till the 12pm show.

Tyler loved the movie. He sat still until the last 5 minutes. Most of the time he sat on Daddy's lap and just relaxed.

First Week DONE!!!

Tyler survived his first week of school. Everyday dropoff got worse and worse but he seemed to do fine after about 5 minutes. The first day he cried when I said good bye. The second day he cried as soon as he saw the door and the third day he cried once I pulled up and he saw the building. My poor baby. I feel like I am traumatizing him but I know it will get better. I hate leaving him when he is crying. It is so hard on your heart.

Here are some pictures of me picking him up. When I get there he is ready to go, he runs out of the building. I love that he is so excited to see me. It makes my whole day.
