Ali's 1 Month Check Up

My little chunky monkey had her one month check up today. She is up to 11 lbs. She is gaining weight like crazy!! She also got one shot today:( She didn't like it at all. Overall she is doing pretty good. We are still keeping an eye on her reflux but its not bad enough for medication yet.

The Zoo

Ali got to experience the Zoo for the first time today. Of course she will never remember it because she slept through the whole trip. On our way down there we found out Dana and Rodney were also headed down there, so Tyler got to spend the day with Aubrey. Tyler had a blast at the Zoo. I swear he loves it more and more every time we go.

Tyler's 2 Year Check Up

Today Tyler had his two year check up. It is also my first adventure out of the house with the two kids by myself.

Tyler is doing great. He is growing like a weed. He is 30 lbs 8 oz (75th %) and 36 1/2 in (90th %). Developmentally he is right on track. I couldn't ask for a more perfect little angel.

I had Ali laying on the table and he had to lay down with her. He is just too cute:)

After Tyler's appointment I took him to McDonald's for lunch and to run around a bit. He loved the little playground there. The equipment played music when you stepped on it.

3 Weeks Old

My baby is 3 weeks old already. I thought time flew with the first, this time its just crazy how fast time flies.

Good Bye Grandma Sandy

My Mom is leaving today. boohoo!! She flew in the day I delivered to help take care of her favorite grandson. It has been so nice having her here for the past 2 1/2 weeks. She definitely made transitioning from one to two alot easier. Tomorrow I get to experience the real world. She will definitely be missed!

Bath Time

I decided to try to give Ali a bath upstairs with Tyler. It works out great. My Mom helped with Tyler and I took care of Ali. When my Mom leaves Troy will take care of Tyler. Tyler loved having his little "sitter" in the bath with him. He helped pour water on her belly to keep her warm and he shared his bath toys with her. I am still amazed by how well Tyler is doing with Ali.

Ali's 2 Week Check Up

Today Ali had her 2 week check up. I can't believe its been two weeks already. My little peanut is getting so big. She now weighs 9 lbs 1 oz and is 21.5 inches long. She is about 1/2 a pound over birth weight and she has grown 2 inches since birth. She still sleeps all the time. I actually asked the pediatrician if this amount of sleep was normal. She said she is just busy growing. Ali seems to have a little bit of a reflux issue too. There really isn't anything that can be done until she is throwing up after every feeding and she isn't there yet. Hopefully it doesn't get to that point either. Over all baby girl is doing great:)

Reading

Tyler loves reading his books. His Grandma Sandy got him this really fun book with all kinds of farm animals. It has become his new favorite book.

Sleeping Beauty

To say that Ali loves her sleep is an understatement. She sleeps about 22 hours out of the day. I can't wait until she decides to show us those baby blue eyes a little more. Her are some of her favorite positions.

Tummy Time

Today Ali got to do her first tummy time. It didn't go as well as planned. When I lay her down she tries to fall asleep. She did manage to exercise her neck for a few minutes though.

Tyler decided he wanted to join in on tummy time. He's such a good big brother!!

1 Week Already

I can't believe the baby girl is already a week old. She still sleeps all the time. I can't wait until she stays awake for small periods throughout the day. She has started sleeping pretty good at night. She sleeps for 3-4 hour stretches and goes back down pretty easily. She is no longer needing to sleep on us all night and stays in her cosleeper, wooohooo.

Sleepy Girl and 1st Appt

My little girl sleeps all the time. She is so opposite of Tyler. I swear she only wakes to eat and even that is a battle. I have to strip her down, put cold hands or a cold rag on her just to try to wake her enough to eat.

Ali had her 1st doctor's appt today. I was a little nervous because it was a new pediatrician. The one we used with Tyler left the practice. I ended up really liking her. She has a 2 yr old also, so at least she knows about having kids not just caring for the them. Ali is doing great. She is up to 8 lbs 1 oz. She is still slightly jaundice, so we need to keep her in the sunlight a little and make sure she is eating enough.

Sweet Boy

Tyler is obsessed with kissing his baby sister. So far he is doing really good with the transition. No real jealousy, yet at least.
