My Cute Little Man

Tyler started his new daycare class this past week and he seems to be enjoying it. He was a little fussy the first couple of days but every day he becomes a little less fussy. They do some things differently in this class that Tyler is not used to and I have had to tell them that Tyler is not ready for. For example, they tried to get him to go to one nap a day but that does not work for him. He needs his morning and afternoon nap or he is a nightmare in the evening. They also tried to change is eating schedule to every two hours but for right now I want Tyler to eat every 3 hours. That is working for him and eating every two hours just seems like a little too much to me. Tyler gets to go outside at school now and I know he enjoys this. He loves the outdoors. They take them out in the morning and the afternoon for a little while.

Tyler is in the process of cutting another top tooth. I felt it this afternoon. So I know this did not help his transition and was part of why he was so fussy last week. My poor little guy. Even though he has been a fairly good teether so far, I can't wait for this whole teething thing to be behind us.

Tyler's New Pool

We got Tyler a little kiddy pool the other day, to try and get him used to the water. I decided to try it out today. It took Tyler a little while but I think he started to enjoy it. For about the first 15 minutes the only way he would sit in it without crying was if he was on my lap. Then he decided that he wanted to go play on his own. Boys Clothes

Since boys aren't allowed to dress in super cute dresses, I am so glad they finally found a way to make boys clothes super cute. They have started to put cute little things on the butt of the clothes. Here are butt pictures of two of Tyler's new outfits.

My 2 Boys

Troy was able to snap a couple of pics of my two boys while he was being a wonderful husband and let me sleep in on Saturday morning.

Sammy loves Tyler so much, he is always trying to give him kisses. So many kisses that I have to tell Sammy to stop. I have a feeling they are going to grow up to be really good friends one day. Aren't my two boys just the cutest?

Angry Eyes

This picture is a little out of focus but I love it. Tyler looks like he is so mad at me. I'm sure he was sick of the camera at this point. In true Mommy fashion I had already taken about 100 pictures of him.

AND I need to add that Tyler has 4 teeth now!!! Two on the top and two on the bottom. I think he is about to cut another one on the top. Maybe that is the real reason for the angry face:)

Our Sunday

For the most part we had a pretty lazy Sunday. Troy went to the movies with some of his buddies and I watched my little boy. I finally have gotten Tyler to go down for naps on his own, no more rocking my little guy:( Amazingly after he feel asleep on his own, he slept for 2 hours in the morning and took an hour long afternoon nap. Typically he is a cat napper and sleeps for maybe 30 min. He has been great at falling asleep on his own at night for some time now but I could never get him to fall asleep on his own for his naps.

After Troy got home and Tyler got done with his afternoon nap we went to the park for a little while and Troy went fishing. Tyler had his first adventures on the swing. I don't think he knew quite what to think about them. I'm sure as he gets older he will learn to love the swings.

Here are some pictures that I took of Tyler while Daddy was fishing. At one point Tyler decided that Daddy wasn't doing a good enough job and he decided to help. Too bad neither of them caught and fish.

My Flower bed

A BIG thanks goes out to my Grandpa for making my flower bed look like a flower bed again:) Here is the proof that I having been taking care of it. Of course its only been 2 weeks since they left, so I haven't had much of a chance to let everything die. We have a ton of buds that are getting ready to bloom on the lilies, so hopefully it will become very colorful in the next couple of weeks.

Digital Scrapbooking

A friend of mine introduced me to this and I liked her pages so much that I have decided to give digital scrapbooking a try. I am still new at this and getting better with each page. So far the pages that I have created are a little out of order, I am trying to get better at doing the pages in order. Eventually I would like to have the first year of Tyler's life made into a book for him and then a book made for him growing up through high school. We will see if this happens. Typically I am full of ideas but not very good at following through with them. Here are some of the pages that I have created so far.

Tyler's Pool Adventure

Tyler got to go in the pool again. And Tyler actually enjoyed it this time!! We were at our friends Laurie and Jean's house for their twin's birthday party and they have a beautiful pool. The pool has a nice little wading area, so I got a chance to get Tyler introduced to the water. After he was comfortable in the water I put him in his cute little pool float that his Crazy Grandma Marcia got him. He loved it. Here are some pictures of him enjoying the water.

Wildflowers

There is a field of wildflowers close to our house. We went out there on Saturday and took some pictures with Tyler. It was really sunny, so it was hard to get pictures of Tyler looking at the camera.

Tyler had a very busy weekend. He went to his first birthday parties. His friend Kason turned 2 and his twin friends Kevin and Dougie turned 4. Here are some cute pictures that I got this weekend. Tyler also cut his first top tooth on Friday. YAY for my big boy!!

He's 7 Months Old!!

I can't believe it. Boy does time fly. Last week Tyler turned 7 months old. I had to take him to the doctor last week because of a cold and he weighs 17 lbs 7 oz. He is putting on about a pound a month. In the past month he has really changed. Some of the things that he is doing now are:

1. Crawling- this is a big one and boy is he getting good at it. He can follow me around the house now. Its like a new fun game of hide and seek.
2. He can pull himself to a standing position. He is even starting to cruise but I have only seem him do that once or twice along the couch.
3. He loves to shake his head no.
4. He knows his name. There have been quite a few times that he is playing across the living room and I say his name and he turns his head.
5. He is drinking out of a sippy cup. This is new, he used to just chew on it but now he is actually drinking out of it.
6. He has started to eat some table food. So far he has tried gerber puffs, bread, ice cream, cheese, and sweet potato fries.

My Little Workout Buddy

I got myself a jogging stroller this weekend and I love it. I figured it was the perfect way to get exercise plus spend time with my Little Man. It seemed perfect because Tyler loves to be outside and he loves stroller rides. Hopefully this will allow me to lose the last 10 lbs of baby weight I have. So now not only is Tyler my little diet plan but he is also my exercise buddy. Here a cute before and after picture of Tyler. It is funny the before he is wide awake and the after he is sound asleep.

Tyler's Great Grandparents

Tyler's Great Grandparents came to visit him for about 10 days. They are still in denial that they are GREAT grandparents and they prefer to be called grandparents. But they really are great and I know he will agree one day:) Here are some pictures of him with them.

Two Big Boys Playing on the Floor

Tyler's Great Grandparent's are in Texas visiting him from Georgia. Or as they like to be called "Grand Parents". This kid is going to wonder why he has so many more Grand parents then any of his friends:) Grandpa loves playing with Tyler and I happen to catch a really cute video of them playing on the floor. They are playing one of Tyler's favorite games. The screaming game. Its really cute. Be sure to turn your volume up.

Two Teeth

Tyler now has two teeth. If you look closely in the picture you can see them. You might have to double click on the photo to make it bigger. Then you will be able to see the teeth.

We Have a Crawler!!

For some reason he loves Sammy's tennis ball and he is obsessed with chasing it around the living room. Here is video of my little crawler. For all of you that don't believe me. Yes, he is really crawling!!!

He's Growing Up

After walking upstairs and seeing Tyler's cute little face looking over the crib railing, we decided it was time to move the crib to the lowest level. He can now get on his knees in the crib. He has not tried to stand up in his crib yet but I have seen him pull himself to a standing position several other times. I didn't want to take the chance of him falling out of the crib. Here is the cute little face that got to walk into.

The Cutest Video EVER!!

This has to be the cutest video I have of Tyler. Tyler loves to watch Sammy and Daddy play. In this video Troy is playing with Sammy in the background and Tyler is laughing his little butt off. He has the silliest laugh I have ever heard. You have to turn your volume up for this one.
