All The Big Boats....

Today we took the golf cart down to the Marina. You love riding in the golf cart. You get so excited, you start bouncing up and down and waving your hands all over the place.

2nd Try at the Beach

We took Tyler down to the beach again today. This time he liked it alot more. He was still unsure of the sand at first but then this nice family let him borrow some of their beach toys and he loved the beach. He was having so much fun playing with the bucket and the shovel. One of his new obsessions is to put his toys in buckets and then pull them out. Now I just need to teach him to not pull them out and he will be able to clean up after himself.

Sunday Afternoon

We took Tyler down to the beach for the first time today. He loved crawling on the chairs. He wasn't a big fan of the sand today. Then we took him down to the water. He didn't really like it at first. I took him in the ocean a little and sat him on my knee. He finally started to enjoy it. Then I sat with him on the shore and just let the waves hit us. He loved this as long as he was sitting on my lap. Everytime a wave hit him he would start to splash. It was really cute to watch him enjoy the ocean. The beach in Destin is beautiful. The water is clear and the sand is white. This is by far the prettiest beach that I have seen in Florida so far.

Tyler wouldn't wear his hat while we were at the beach, so I had to put sunscreen in his hair. This gave me the opportunity to give him a cute mohawk:)

Sunday in Destin

Today Mommy decided to take me for a walk in the morning and get some really cute pictures of me. We went down to the marina and they have some huge boats down there. Daddy needs to get another job, so he can buy me one of these big yachts:) Then we found some tree houses along the bay and I had a ton of fun crawling around them and trying to eat all the leaves.

Saturday in Destin

Today was a pretty relaxing day. We hung around the condo for a little while and Tyler played with all of his relatives. In the morning we took Tyler for a walk and let him play on the boardwalk a little. Here are some pictures from that.



While Tyler was taking his morning nap, Grandma Marcia and Mommy went down to the beach. I can't believe how nice the beach is here. The water is actually clear, you can see your feet. This is by far the nicest beach that I have seen in Florida, so far. After Mommy got done with the beach, we went to eat some Creole food and then they took me to the pool. Tyler had a hard time warming up to the pool at first. It was pretty cold, so I don't blame him. You would think the pool would be warm by now but I guess not. We Arrived!!

We arrived in Destin today. Our flight went pretty good. We took off a half an hour late but we made up for it in the air and arrived on time. Tyler did GREAT on the flight. He slept from take off to landing. Except for the delay in the begining, I couldn't have asked for a better flight. I just hope he does this great on the way home.

The condo is very nice. Except that Mommy and Daddy have me sleeping in a closet. Don't worry its a really big closet and its like Tyler has his own room. I think he will prefer it in there, since he is used to sleeping in his own room.

So far we are having lots of fun in Destin. We just relaxed today. Tyler got to play with his Grandma Sandy, Grandma Marcia, Grandpa Carl, his Great Grandparents and his Uncle Trey. He is getting more than enough attention right now. Here are some cute pictures from our vacation so far.

Practicing my walking skills. I'm still not walking on my own but I am getting more and more comfortable with walking while holding someone's hand. I think we are getting very close to having a walker!

This has become one Tyler's new favorite game. He loves to hide behind the couches and I say "where's Tyler?" a couple of times and I can see him peeking around the corner. When I say "there he is!", he just starts to giggle. My boy is too cute:)

He Figured It Out

I don't know if you remember but I posted the other day how I had one barricade in the house that still worked, well it doesn't anymore.


Yes, he climbed on top of the box by himself. I was close by watching but didn't help him. I have a little monkey on my hands.

Saturday

Saturday was a pretty busy day. I got to sleep in, which is always wonderful. And Daddy said that Tyler was in the best mood in the morning. Then I went to get a hair cut. A WELL needed haircut. I haven't had one since February. I guess its just one of those things that you forget to do when you are a Mommy. After I was done we took Tyler to a local garden to get some pictures. I got a new camera lens, so I had to take it out and play around. Here are some of the pictures from that day. If you want to make the pictures bigger double click on them.

Playtime

This afternoon I took some pictures of Tyler while he played with all of his toys.

Tyler's new favorite toy is his ball. Since he has learned how to say ball, he has become obsessed with them. He likes to throw it and then go chase it. They even noticed his new game at daycare. They said he has been doing it all the day the last couple of days. At least he is good at playing by himself:)
