Grandma's Leaving:(

Today is a sad day:( Grandma has to go back home. We had a great Thanksgiving with her. The kids will definitely miss their playmate.

But before Grandma left she was "nice" enough to put presents under our tree. I know this will drive me crazy for the next month because the kids will not leave them alone. It didn't take Ali long to dig in.

Christmas Tree

The Christmas Tree is up! Tyler helped decorate it last night after we put Ali to bed. He had so much fun. These pictures were taken the next morning after the kids woke up and Ali discovered the tree for the first time.

Toy Box

Ali is having a blast finding new uses for her toy box. She loves playing inside it.

Zoo with Grandma

Today we decided to take the kiddos to the zoo. They had a blast. Tyler loves the zoo and Ali is getting there. At one point we were looking at fish and there was a huge turtle in the tank. Ali got close to the take and Tyler took off running, screaming "No Ali". He was so upset, he thought this turtle was going to hurt Ali. I love times like this it reminds me that he really does love her:)

Grandma Is HERE!!!

Grandma is here Grandma is here!!! Tyler is so excited!! I told him we had to go pick Grandma up after his nap and he asked to go take his nap:) It was only 10 am, so of course I didn't let him but it was really cute that he was so excited to see her.

And what does every good Grandma bring??? PRESENTS!!! Tyler loves her even more now:)

Little Sicky

My little man is so sick, its awful. It breaks my heart when he gets this sick. I got a call from his preschool that he was running a 104 temp and I needed to go pick him up. When I got there he was sitting the school directors office with an ice pack on his neck, his blankie and a juice box:) He looked awful. He was so weak he couldn't even walk. Since I had Ali the director carried him to the car. That was so nice of her. He was complaining of a sore throat, so I took him to the doctor right away. Of course it was strep. I love my Mommy instinct, its almost always right:) When we were home he insisted on laying in our bed to watch TV. How could I say no to my little sicky. Thankfully the next day he was back to perfect. Grandma is coming a couple days and I would hate for him to be sick.

Blocks!

Little Miss learned how to put blocks together!!! Daddy was working on this with her yesterday and today I caught her doing it all on her own while I was cooking dinner. I am so impressed by this. These are the smaller duplo blocks not the big mega blocks, so they are a bit harder. My little princess is one smart cookie.

Outside Time

My kiddos love their outside time:) And then favorite spot to play happens to be a retaining wall that has about a two foot fall. Luckily they both are pretty careful on it. Incase your wondering my kid does wear pants just not at home, he always wants to be naked.

I love the pure happiness in Tyler's face in this one.

Jeans and Tears

Ali put on her FIRST pair of jeans today and she is soooo adorable in them. I just love little kids in jeans. She let me get a few pictures of her rockin her jeans and then she turned into drama queen mode.

We had some photos done, mostly be cause I was too lazy to do it myself. Plus Tyler is really hard for me to photograph and our photographer is awesome with him. She did a couple family shots too.
