Tyler & Avery

Sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G First comes love then comes marriage then comes the baby in the baby carriage. Not really but I just felt like singing that song. Avery is leaving today and we got some pictures of the kids playing. Tyler did pretty good at sharing his toys. We had to let them figure it out a couple of times but for the most part they were both very nice to each other.

Zoo Again

Today we took Kristin and Avery to the zoo. This is Tyler's 2nd visit this week. He might become a regular there. I didn't really take many pictures because its our 3rd visit this year but here are a couple of cute ones.

Here are the kids checking out the crocodiles.

My little guy looks so cute in his baseball hat.

Goodbye

Today Grandma H and Aunt Pam are leaving. We had a very fun visit with them.

Daddy's Day Out

Tyler's Grandma H and Aunt Pam are visiting him (I guess us too but mostly him). Daddy took the whole week off to spend with them, so I decided to take advantage of that and go into the office. Even though I work at home now I still have to go in once a month. Daddy decided to take everyone to the Ft Worth Zoo. We later found out that Aunt Pam had never been to the zoo and she loved it. I think everyone had a really good time. Here are some pictures from the day.

Happy 18 Months!!

Today my baby boy had his 18 month doctor's appointment. I can't believe he is already a year and a half old. Time sure flies when your having fun! He didn't really have any developmental changes this month, so I am going to skip that part for this month. His doctor's appointment went great. He is meeting all the milestones she mentioned. He actually did most of them a few months ago, so no worries there. He still doesn't talk very much but that doesn't surprise me, he didn't babble until after 9 months. I know when he is ready he will start talking our ears off. So for the fun stuff, my big boy is 26 lbs (50%) and 33 in (75%). It sure seems like he has gotten his Daddy's tall genes and not my short genes, which I am very happy about.

Little Gardener

Tyler loves to help Daddy water water the plants out front. Good thing too, Daddy likes to forget to water them :) He's such a good little helper.

UH OH!!

I was sitting in the living room watching TV and Tyler was playing in his favorite kitchen cabinet. I wasn't really paying much attention to him. I could hear him so I knew he was safe. All the sudden I see Sammy walking out of the kitchen eating something. I walk in the kitchen to this.....

He is so busted! I LOVE the innocent look on his face.

Of course I had to grab the camera before I cleaned this up. The mess was already made.

Playdate

Today Tyler and I hosted a playdate at our house. We had a lot of fun. Tyler got to hang out with some pretty cute chicks and I got to talk to some other Mommies. It was really hard for Tyler to understand that he needed to share his toys but he got the hang of it in no time. This play group was lots of fun because all the kids are around 18 months except for one. Alot of times its a pretty big mix in the ages (babies to 4 yrs) and some of the older kids pick on the younger ones.

Here are some pictures from today.

Tyler and Kylee playing in the ball pit.

Marin. She such a petite little thing. I love holding her. This is one of my new Mommy friends, Cyrstal's little girl.

Bella reading books.

Tyler getting kisses from Kylee. He looks thrilled doesn't he. In 15 years he will be begging for kisses from girls:)

What Happens....

When you let a toddler play alone for 5 minutes? They destroy their playroom. Tyler is obsessed with books lately. Before you know it he will have every book on the shelf on the floor.

He still loves the popcorn popper that his Great Grandpa bought him.

Pinic at the Park

Daddy was off work today. So we decided to have a little family picnic in the park. You ate your peas and hotdog while Daddy and I enjoyed some sandwiches. After we were done eating we let you run around the playground a bit. You actually went down the slide on your own. It was so cute, you scooted your little butt up to the edge and then slid down like a big boy. Of course you had to climb up the slide so you could do it all over again.

Opening Day

Today Tyler attended his very first Texas Rangers game and his very first Opening Day. Troy and I have been going to Opening Day for years now with some friends, we always have a great time. Last year Tyler was still in daycare, so we could leave him there. Not this year though. We were VERY worried about how Tyler would handle everything. The game started at 1pm and nap time is around 2pm, so this meant he would have to skip his nap. Also, Tyler hates to be confined to small places and he would need to be confined to our laps. I figured worse case there there several laps for him to sit on or I could take him in the concession area when the game started and let him run around.

I am very happy to report that Tyler did AWESOME at the game. He was a perfect little boy. We were so proud of him. Everyone around us commented on how wonderfully behaved he was. It made us so proud. We met up with our friends to do a little tailgating and then went into the game. Tyler made it all the way to the 8th Inning before he needed to go, he was so tired. Even then he didn't get to fussy we just decided to leave and beat the traffic.

Here are some pictures from our adventure today.

Here are a couple of Tyler tailgating.

Enjoying some french fries

There ended up being an extra seat, so Tyler had his own seat. This worked out great because it gave him a place to play. Here is the three of us. Not the greatest photo but it will work.

Daddy had to buy Tyler a hat because he looked so stinkin cute in it. We had a hard time keeping it on at first but now he loves the hat.

Playing with peanut shells on the ground. I know Mom of Year Award here.

Some random game photos.

He fell asleep after being in the car for 2 minutes. My little guy was exhausted.

Rearanging Things

I guess Tyler didn't like how I had put things in the cabinet. He decided to take it upon himself to fix the problem. This is how he entertains himself while I cook.

Playhouse

Tyler got a new playhouse. I have been wanting to buy him one of these for a while now. Tyler loves going to the park and I thought this would be a little easier than a trip to the park all the time plus it gives the dogs a chance to run around outside. A friend of ours was giving away one that his daughter outgrew. It worked out perfectly.

Tyler can climb up the slide by himself

While Tyler was playing. Sammy and Bailey got to play a little too. Sammy loves to chance the ball and Bailey loves to chance Sammy.

Reading Time

Today Tyler decided to join Daddy in his office for a little reading time.

I have been a really bad blogger lately. I have not been feeling well, so taking pictures of my little man was not high on my priority list. I apologize. I am feeling better now, so hopefully I will be able to post more often.
