Little Girl Update

I completely forgot to post an update about the little girl. I had my big ultra sound about 2 weeks ago. Most of the fun was already gone because already know she is a girl but I still make them check at every ultrasound. They also needed to make sure the cyst was really gone. Apparently the perinatologist forgot to write that part down in my records, even though I remember him saying it was gone. Thankfully it is still gone. They did a bunch of measurements and everything still looks fine. No markers for any chromosome issues.

My Mom got to go with me this time. She had never soon an ultrasound, so it was really cool for her to get to experience it. I even got to get a couple pictures of the little lady in 3-D. I have to go for another one in 2 weeks to check the bone measurement. I will get to see her again in 3-D. Hopefully this time she behaves better.

Here are some pictures from the appt.

She's still a she:)

This is the brain. No dark spots means no cyst, YAY!

Profile view, her face and belly

3-D picture. Its her profile with her arm up in the air. Its kind of hard to make out at first.

  1. My mom went with me for my first ultrasound and then the one at 20 weeks and then I had a 4-D done as well. She was amazed at the first one where you could already hear his heartbeat and then at the second where you actually see him and make out features. The 4-D completely blew her mind!!!
Congrats again on the little girl. Have ya'll decided on any names yet?

  3. We are still undecided on the name and probably will be for a while. We don't even talk about. Tyler was baby H for the first 2 days of his life. I wouldn't be surprised if this one is going to be a baby H too:)

  5. Good for the most part. I am having tons of braxton hicks. I just pray they aren't real contractions. I have no idea what those feel like without pitocin.
