Favorite Foods

Bailey Love!!

Tyler LOVES Bailey but unfortunately Bailey does not return the favor! I think one of the reason he is so obsessed with her is because he secretly knows that she doesn't like him and he is determined to turn her around. Fortunately for us Bailey has a loud growl but not bite to her. These are some funny pictures of Tyler giving Bailey some lovin:)

Lets Jump

Since I am home with Tyler all the time now. I decided to join some Mommy and Me groups. I had my first meet up today. I thought the play date was at 10am and at a Lets Jump by our house. So I went up there and no one showed, I was slightly annoyed but I ended up meeting another groups of Mommies that always meet there at 10 every Tues. So that made up for it. Then I got to thinking that my reminder never went off on my phone, so I looked at it and the meeting was at 3pm. Yeah, slight blonde moment:)

Anyways, I went back up there at 3pm because Tyler enjoyed it the first time and I really wanted to meet some new Moms. Tyler liked it the first time but this time he loved it, I guess the first time was just warm up. Let's Jump is a really cool place that has a bunch of inflatable bounce houses, slides and obstacle courses. The slide is a 22 ft slide and Tyler climbed all the way to the top multiple times. Of course I followed him but I did not help him at all. Once we got to the top we had to slide down, he loved this. He laughed the whole way down. My little dare devil:) He even showed this other little girl how to do it, she was 14 months old. Once she saw him do it, she was all about going up by herself. I am really glad that I ended up going back. The Mom with the 14 month old is super nice and around my age. We are supposed to meet up at the mall next week. So it looks like I am well on my way to meeting other Mommies in my area. Mission Accomplished!!

Funday Monday!!

These are just some random pictures of Tyler throughout the day.

This is one of Tyler drinking out of his new straw sippy cups. I really like these cups they are so much cleaner than his other sippy cups. Even though the regular ones are no spill they still spill a little.

This is one of Tyler trying to carry one of his toys around. Its so funny because this toy is pretty big and fairly heavy but he is determined to carry it around with him. He loves this toy because he knows that when he pushes the bear it will sings to him.

I Think I'm A Puppy

This is one of the many reasons that Bailey doesn't like me. Not only do I annoy the crap out of her if I get within two feet of her, now I have taken over her bed. This was her safe spot to sleep while Mommy was working and now I have made it my new play ground.

New BooBoo

Tyler got another booboo today. Poor Baby:( He fell on the edge of the fireplace. This one looks worse than it is. He cried for a few minutes but it hasn't bothered him all evening.

Finally Done....

I am finally done breast feeding. As of Friday night I am done. I can't believe that I did it for a year. If you would have asked when I was in college if I was ever going to breastfeed, I would have said no way. I thought is was gross and weird. I thought it would be really weird to have a baby staring at you while they were sucking on your boob. Fast forward a few years when I got pregnant and I was willing to give it a shot. I wasn't stuck on forcing it but it was definitely something I was willing to try for the good of my baby. Now looking back I am so proud of myself for making it a year. And 9 of those months I had to pump at work. To me it is one of my greatest of accomplishments. It turned out not to be weird but one of the sweetest things that I could have experienced as a Mom. Looking down at that sweet little face just made my morning, day and night. I know I will miss my special little bonding time with Tyler but I am very happy to finally get my body back after 1 year and 10 months.

Tyler is now completely weened off the bottle and the boob:) I don't think he misses the bottle at all. I know he misses the boob a little, if he sees it he will come after me with a wide open mouth! I know with time he will forget. He is doing great with milk and the sippy cup. He has even learned to drink out of the sippy cups with the straws. Tyler also cut his 11th tooth, one of the bottom molars. He has also learned to say ot ohh when he drops something. Its really cute, I was pushing him through Target the other day and he kept dropping stuff out of the cart and saying ot ohh. Well it was cute but also sort of annoying. Now he says it all the time when he drops or throws something or when he falls. I love being at home with him, so I can teach him all these cool things.

1st Haircut

Tyler got his first haircut today. I miss my little shaggy boy but he does look so cute with his new do. We went to this really cute place to get it done, Pigtails and Crewcuts. They had an airplane, truck and fire truck for the the kids to sit in. Tyler got to ride in the airplane. He did really good while the lady cut his hair. His ears are still intact:)

Mommy's Little Helper

I got Tyler this little shelf thing to try to organize some of his books and toys that are currently covering the living room floor. Tyler thought he would be a good little helper and give Mommy a hand. Or at least do his best to get in the way. Humm.... I wonder which it was?

Its A Hard Life!

Or at least it is for my little princess. This is what I get to look at while I get some work done.

I put her a bed under the desk a while ago because she used to like to sleep there while I did my school work. Now she is putting the bed to good use again, only this time I am working. She has had a really rough life lately because she doesn't get to sleep all day like she used to. She better get used to it:)

New Job

So I am now officially a WAHM (work at home Mom) and I am loving it. Last month I talked to my boss about me either quitting or working from home part time. Luckily he was willing to let me try to work from home part time, I was really hoping this would happen. Financially we were prepared to go to one salary but having two is so much nicer. I started the new gig on Tuesday and so far it is working out great. Each day I have been able to get in 5 hours of work while Tyler naps. I feel so much more refreshed and like I actually have time to enjoy the days. Working in an office is SO much harder than staying home with a little one, or at least mine. Now not only do I get paid with the green stuff that we all love but I also get paid with tons of hugs and kisses. Tyler gives really big hugs now its so cute. I think he even tries to give kisses but its more like he's trying to eat you.

Today I went to the gym for the first time in a long time. I enrolled Tyler in the Kids Klub, so he could play while I worked out. I thought this would be good for him. He is used to the daycare enviroment and this is set up alot like that. They said he did wonderfully and he was very happy and playful the whole time he was there. Tomorrow I start back with my trainer. Maybe now I will finally be able to the lose those last couple of pounds.

Happy Halloween

Since Kristin and I were going to be together for Halloween and it was the first Halloween that we could dress the kids up, last year they were only about a week and a half old, we wanted to dress them in matching costumes. First they were going to be Charlie Brown and Lucy but Kristin couldn't find a dress for Avery. So then we decided on Tigger and Pooh. I have to say that they were the cutest Tigger and Pooh ever. The kids were not very happy about the costumes but they did wear them but they definitely were not happy about it. Here are some pictures of the kids dressed up.

Fall Leaves

Today we took Avery and Tyler in Kristin's backyard to get some pictures. They have the perfect setting for pictures, the white fence and tons of fall leaves. Too bad the kids didn't really want to cooperate. Avery was a little fussy and Tyler was have too much fun playing with the leaves to pay attention to the camera.

Bathtime:)

Since they are young enough to not remember we let Tyler and Avery take their baths together. Avery is so funny in the bath tub, she is a crazy women. She loves the water.

Their Tired!

I think we wore them out. Today we decided to drive into Springfield. Kristin had to pick up some pictures of Avery and there was a Mall there that we could walk around. Here are the kiddos on the way home.
